WEAKENED Stroud came lost out on a wet pitch at Trowbridge in the Glos/Wilts Division.
The absence of first- team regulars Dave Terrington, Leighton Collins, Olly Waters, Sam Cook and Will Roberts proved crucial as Stroud’s four-match winning run came to an abrupt end in Wiltshire.
Earlier, Paul Frape lost the toss and saw his team inserted on a wet wicket.
Just three Stroud batsman passed 20 as they were bowled out for 148 in 44.3 overs.
Ed Mobbs top scored with 29. Luke Benneyworth hit 25 and Kieran Smith finished unbeaten on 27.
As conditions dried out,Trowbridge reached their target off the last delivery of the 38th over as Pete Hickerton and Perveiz Aziz finished unbeaten on 52 and 47 respectively.
Smith and James Job shared a wicket apiece.
