Forest Green continued their winning run in pre-season with a 4-3 victory over Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
There were goals for Ebou Adams and Carl Winchester while Nicky Cadden and Kane Wilson bagged their first goals for the club.
A goal from Zain Westbrooke and a brace for Jonson Clarke-Harris was not enough for the Gas.
FGR head coach Mark Cooper said: "“I’m really pleased with the performance.
“We looked organised, played good football and carried a real goal threat.
“It was only when we started to make a few changes and disrupt the flow of the team that we started to look a little less sure at the back.
“Pre-season is about ironing out the wrinkles and right now I’m really pleased about where we are as a team.
"I’ve seen progress from the first day of pre-season until now."
