Forest Green dreww 1-1 in their League Two clash at Walsall but how did we rate the players?
Ratings out of 10
Lewis Thomas 7 Despite the signing of Bristol City loanne Jo Wollacott, Thomas was given the chance to start again after his clean sheet against Oldham. His kicking was questioned by boss Mark Cooper, but he produced a series of solid saves, including a top-draw stop from Cameron Norman's free-kick.
Dom Bernard 6 Solid as a rock and more than a capable deputy for the sidelined Liam Shephard.
Farrend Rawson 7 Arguably Rovers' best defender before a clash of heads forced the big defender off on the cusp of the break.
Nathan McGinley 6 Struggled to cope with the physicality of Adebayo and was often exposed.
Matt Mills 6 Rovers' chief organiser was once again imperious in the air, but caught cold a few times on the floor.
Joe Mills 7 Captain-fantastic led from the front and was calmness personified when thumping home from the penalty spot to hand Rovers the lead.
Kevin Dawson 6 Combative yet again in the midfield engine room. More to come from the newbie.
James Morton 7 Looks to have a big future in the game - played the quarterback role with guile and precision. Hooked late on for Ebou Adams.
Carl Winchester 7 First start of the season after suspension. Energetic performance from the all-action midfielder and should be delighted with his performance.
Aaron Collins 6 Once again handed the number 10 role just off Shawn McCoulsky. Won Rovers a penalty after he picked the pocked of Walsall captain James Clarke. Subbed for Matt Stevens with 21 minutes to go.
Shawn McCoulsky 6 Yet to get off the mark in the league despite scintillating pre-season goalscoring form. Worked hard but was well marshalled.
Subs
Liam Kitching 6 Former Leeds United youngster made his debut off the bench after replacing Rawson just before the break. Neat and tidy, but will be annoyed that James Hardy beat him to the ball when spanking home after the ball came back off the bar.
Matty Stevens 6 Worked his proverbial socks off during his introduction with 21 minutes to go.
Ebou Adams 6 Made his debut for Rovers when replacing Morton with 13 minutes to go.
Subs not used: Adam Smith, Dayle Grubb, Taylor Allen, Junior Mondal, Jo Wollacott.
