Forest Green keeper Lewis Ward insists the players aren't looking at the league table and are fully focused on trying to control their own destiny.
Rovers are sixth ahead of the visit of Macclesfield Town tomorrow but there is little margin for error with the top end of League Two looking quite congested.
The keeper says the team are focused on their own games and making sure they at least pick up something from each match they play.
"No one's looking at the table really," he said. "It's about going into every game picking up as many points as we can, hopefully all three but making sure that we don't lose the game like against MK Dons where we didn't have the best of games and we lost it, you're a bit more positive when you come away with a point."
Ward, 22, has enjoyed a good run of form in recent weeks and has grasped a stranglehold on the number one jersey.
He feels that he's adapting to Rovers' style and performed well but he's also aware that James Montgomery is keen to get back in the team and battle for his place.
"I feel like I've added to the team when I've been there.
"It's been difficult to learn the style of play but that's why I'm here - to learn new styles.
"Other places I've been told to crash it as far as I can whereas here I've been told to play out so it's nice to learn.
"Monty's (Montgomery) had his injury and I was there in case that happened. It's nice to be able to get a run of games together and to put in the performances has been quite nice.
"You're never guaranteed game time as much as you want it. You have to, when you get your chance, take it and it's always at someone else's expense as a goalkeeper.
"You've always got to be ready when you're able to play and Monty will be ready if I get injured."
