FOREST GREEN boss Mark Cooper has revealed his disappointment at claims his side are being bankrolled.
Under the leadership of green energy boss Dale Vince, Rovers are perceived
as one of the League Two big-spenders.
Speaking at a recent Cheltenham Town fans' forum, Robins' boss Michael Duff told Town supporters: "There is a slight disparity in money - don’t get too obsessed with Forest Green
"We can’t offer the same money as Forest Green, Mansfield or Lincoln."
When asked to respond to Duff's comments, Cooper said: "I'm disappointed really, I never mention other teams budgets - all it does is take the pressure off the person that says it and if they do say it in my opinion they're trying to hide something and maybe their budget is not as small as they proclaim it is."
