Goalkeeper Simon Lefebvre has joined National League South side Bishop’s Stortford on a one-month loan deal.
The Frenchman, who joined Forest Green in the summer, is set to fill the void of the Hertfordshire clubs number one keeper Joe Wright, who has been ruled out of action recently with a facial injury.
Yet to appear in the first team at The New Lawn, Lefebvre has regularly featured on the bench for Rovers this season and played in reserve team games.
The former Bordeaux youngster links up with a Bishop’s Stortford side who are looking to fight their way out of relegation trouble in the National League South.
He could be set to make his debut this weekend when they travel to take on FGR’s upcoming FA Trophy opponents Truro City.
Forest Green currently have former Liverpool and Swindon Town goalkeeper Tyrell Belford training at the club. Belford left Swindon Town last month and was on loan at Rovers' National League rivals Southport and is currently with Conference South outfit Oxford City.
