BRISTOL ROVERS boss Darrell Clarke has penned a three-year contract to remain at the Memorial Stadium and bring an end any interest from Leeds United.
Rovers confirmed on Tuesday that an approach for Clarke, who has steered Rovers to back-to-back promotions, had been made, however the club has now confirmed Clarke's long-term future.
The statement read: "Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that Darrell Clarke has agreed to remain at The Memorial Stadium as manager and has agreed a new, improved, three-year contract which will make him the highest paid manager in the club’s history."
