MADAM – I was horrified to learn recently that the EU is paying millions of pounds of our money to Cuba to help with refuse collection, and to the Czech Republic for a non-existent fishing fleet, when that country doesn’t even have a coastline.

I am a pensioner and have worked hard all of my life and always paid my taxes and all my bills.

I don’t see why my hard earned money, and that of countless others, should be squandered by the EU in this way.

I understand that Labour, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and the Greens all support the EU and this ridiculous state of affairs.

I will be voting for Ukip in the General Election as they seem to be the only people who will get us out of this nonsense and back to things being run in our own country, as they should always have been.
