MADAM - Having taught research skills at university I would advise caution in accepting the results of PAG's survey regarding the proposed supermarket at Ryeford.
In questionnaire design it is difficult to produce non-leading questions, and conversely, very easy to produce questions that will give you the answers you want.
For example, most people would strongly agree with the creation of 300 jobs (question included), however, most people would strongly agree that increased traffic congestion at the Ryeford junction would be a problem (question not included).
May I suggest this survey is (like Del Boy's guarantee) not worth the paper it is written upon.
