MADAM - The rise and rise of fracking and the dirty myths peddled by those who advocate it, apologise for it or ease it's path (the government) in the UK reveals much about the true depth of desperation the dinosaurs of the carbon economy are in.As Deutsche Bank, Chatham House, Ofgem, International Energy Agency (IEA) and the CBI conclude shale gas is not cheap and will not keep energy prices low.
It will however accelerate climate change, create very serious sources of pollution that may threaten landscapes, water resources and communities and is entirely inconsistent with the governmentÕs own policy.
