MADAM - Whenever I read the SNJ I am forced to the conclusion that the true description of a Stroudie is 'objectionable'.
They appear to reject any form of new housing, or additional supermarkets, or an incinerator for their waste - in fact anything that is proposed.
Badgers are to be protected from a cull at the expense of the expenses-raised council and reject the development of a pavement cafe culture outside the Subscription Rooms if that entails a glass of wine or lager!
I noted that the monarchy must be replaced by an elected president, although then this democracy appears then to have delivered the wrong Member of Parliament so presumably then their president will have to use the tactics of Mugabe or Putin to ensure that voters follow the plan and not their personal views.
All-in-all I pity the poor person who would have once suggested bringing street lighting by way of gas or electricity to the town centre or indeed the citizen who suggested removing the man with the red flag from in front of the motor car, they really must have been the villains of their day!
