MADAM - Having read with interest the numerous comments regarding planning applications for yet more supermarkets in our area, surely instead of another major setting up shop here, the one addition that would be welcomed by many would be either Aldi or Lidl, which provide a whole different approach to supermarket shopping and equally important, provide stiff competition to keep the 'majors' on their toes.
