CAMP RDA is one of the oldest Kitty Barron Riding for the Disabled Groups in the country and provides free riding to some of the most severely disabled locally (Milestone School and St Roses amongst others).
Chris and Vicky Barron of Camp Riding Centre provide a number of suitable horses for free to enable this RDA to continue, however there is a need to purchase for the RDA a 14.2 pony due to the numbers who now come to ride.
The group is trying to raise sufficient finds to purchase a new RDA pony.
There will be a Christmas Fayre on November 23 at Miserden Village Hall – 11am until 4pm with all proceeds going directly to the RDA.
So far there are a number of stalls – homemade cakes, bread, jam and chutney plus Christmassy things such a mincemeat etc, tombola, bottle stall, jewellery, locally made candles, wines etc., Father Christmas the local Mummers.
