THE monthly meeting of the Stonehouse WRBL took place at the Community Centre on Thursday, September 25.

The chairman Janet Walsh led the exhortation and silent tribute.

Everyone was welcomed.

There were 28 members present.

A fun afternoon was had by enjoying two quizzes on different themes prepared by Janet the chairman.

All the answers to the first quiz were makes of sweets and chocolate bars, while the second quiz related to “old money”.

The competition for a favourite keepsake was won by Doreen Burford.

Our next meeting will be the A.G. M. on Thursday, October 30 at 1.45pm.

The competition will be for “a treasured saying”.

We would be pleased to welcome new members.
