EARLY August saw us back at St Matthew's for a quiz based talk by Steve Morton of Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust and some fascinating and, in some cases, surprising facts about arthritis and the effects it has on the young and old in its different forms.
As weight is the biggest risk factor of this disease, I must think twice about that second biscuit with my cuppa.
If you would like to join in the fun, why not visit us on the first Tuesday of every month; the next being on Tuesday, September 3 as usual at 7.15pm in St Matthew's Church Hall, Cainscross.
The guest speaker will be Claire Greenwood of the Cotswold Players with some 'monologues, poems and songs' and the competition will be for a display of autumn flowers.
There is always a raffle, sales table and refreshments available, so I hope to see you there.
