MICHAEL Gamble Funeral Directors are celebrating after being accepted as full members of a nationally recognised industry organisation.

After just two years in business at London Road in Stroud, the company is now affiliated with the National Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF).

All SAIF members are independently owned and not part of any large conglomerate or chain and they must comply with the organisation’s code of practice, which ensures high standards of service, clear and simple pricing and a high level of experience and qualifications within the funeral industry.

SAIF applicants must also undergo a rigorous inspection process to ensure facilities meet the required standard and the partnership also operates an independent complaints procedure should any member of the public feel let down by the service they have received. As well as receiving this recognition, the firm are also pleased to report a 25 per cent rise in business in the last six months when compared to the same period the previous year.
