The 69-YEAR-OLD man from King's Stanley who was killed in a road accident on Saturday, July 31 has been named as Andrew Maclean.
Mr Maclean, from Green Court, King's Stanley, was riding on his motorcycle when it collided with a Toyota Previa at around 1.50pm on the A429 Stow Road. It happened between Cirencester and North Cerney travelling in the direction of Northleach.
His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
The driver of the car, a 73-year-old man from Stratford-Upon-Avon and his passenger, a 73-year-old woman, were uninjured in the collision.
Gloucestershire coroner Alan Crickmore, who opened the inquest, has now adjourned it until a date to be fixed.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal accident. Anyone with any information about the collision is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 282 of July 31.
