Police are investigating after a number of pieces of artwork by a Gloucester based artist were stolen in a burglary at a property in Dursley.
It’s believed that overnight between Tuesday August 2 and Wednesday August 3 the offenders broke into the vacant shop on Silver Street, which is being used as a gallery, and stole five pieces of artwork that formed part of exhibition as part of the Stroud District Council ‘On View’ Scheme.
The surreal pieces of artwork stolen are entitled; Death Metal, Inscape, Cybernetic Make-Up, Human Beans and Evolution and their combined value is £1145.
