MP NEIL Carmichael will visit the Stroud-based Meningitis Trust tomorrow, Tuesday, to learn more about the work of the national charity.
Mr Carmichael will begin by visiting staff at the head office in Bath Road, Stroud, before taking a stroll around the Trust’s beautiful memorial garden.
Trust chief executive Sue Davie said she has been keen to schedule the visit since Mr Carmichael’s election victory in May.
First established nearly 25 years ago by Stroud parents following a meningitis outbreak, the Trust now offers support to 20,000 people nationwide.
