POLICE are now investigating whether the cause of a fire in Regent Street, Stonehouse, yesterday, Wednesday, is suspicious.
Firefighters were called at 3.40pm to a blaze in the back garden of 26 Regent Street, Stonehouse.
It spread to neighbouring gardens and some trees also caught fire.
Two fire engines from Stroud attended and were there until 6.20pm.
Three sheds/outbuildings were severely damaged by fire.
No-one was injured but some staff at nearby Wycliffe School's sports hall evacuated as a safety precaution.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 355 of July 28.
