MORE than £1,480 has now been donated to the SNJ's Save our Stroud in Bloom appeal.
SIB chairman Malcolm Tarling said: "I would like to thank all those who have contributed to our appeal, but please still keep the cheques flowing however small.
"Every pound helps to make Stroud a better place to live, to work, and to visit."
The appeal was launched after committee members revealed that without extra help and fundraising next year's event would have to be cancelled.
The group needs around £3,000 to fund next year's event.
To make a donation, no matter how small, send a cheque made payable to Stroud in Bloom to 92 Boverton Drive, Brockworth, Glos, GL3 4BS or to Stroud Town Council offices in London Road, Stroud.
