police investigating a report of a robbery in Cam are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
At around 2.40am on Sunday July 25 police received a call from a 44-year-old Gloucester man stating that a short while previously he had been walking along Birch Road when he was approached by four men who assaulted him, causing reddening to his hand, and then stole the contents of his wallet; £250 in cash and a claret and yellow metal ring.
The men were described as dressed in all black clothing and wearing red masks.
