The organisers of Stroud International Textile Festival are looking to raise £35,000 to build on this year's success in order to repeat it next year.
Now the leading visual arts festival in the Cotswolds, attracting more than 13,500 visitors in 2010, the festival relies on donations in order to run each year.
Lizzie Walton, organiser of the festival, said: "Bringing all these people to Stroud over the course of three weeks is vital for Stroud's economy. We are very proud of how well the festival did this year but we need money in order to do get it going for next year."
