AN EXTENSIVE collection of photographs from across the world are being displayed at the Star Anise Arts Cafe from Sunday.

Aspiring Photographers Daniel Mackenzie and Tomer Shaltiel both studied at Stroud College and are presenting their collection of work from a six year global trip. Their use of distortion techniques brings the collection alive but also coincide with some beautiful portraits especially 'Tremough Gardens'.

Along with shooting an array of textured photographs in black and white which give the European images an aged characteristic.

This is most prominent in the Budapest collection.

Currently Tomer is studying at Falmouth University and will be displaying some other work at the exhibition created during his degree.

While Daniel, a full time chef at the Star Anise cafe will showcase a series of images taken in India, Thailand and Northern Europe.

A preview evening is being held on Sunday at the Gloucester Street cafe at 8pm where refreshments including organic wine will be provided.

The exhibition will continue until September 12.
