SCOTT Hawker, 33, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply after he was arrested in Stroud with 586g of the Class B drug.
Stroud Magistrates’ Court heard on Wednesday, July 14, how police in Dudbridge stopped a car Hawker was travelling in on April 30 and immediately smelt cannabis.
Two bags of the drug with a street value of around £2,600 were discovered, which Hawker, of Stanwick Gardens, Cheltenham, said he and another man had purchased for £3,000.
He later admitted his intentions to deal it to friends.
The case was transferred to Gloucester Crown Court on August 18 and Hawker was released on unconditional bail.
