STROUD poet Adam Horovitz has made it onto a national who’s who list of influential and emerging creative figures in the artistic industries.
The inaugural Hospital Club100 list was launched this year in association with The Independent Media Weekly.
It was a search for the authentic stars of Britain's creative industries and unlike other power lists, anyone could go on the website and vote.
There were 10 categories including film, digital, advertising, publishing and writing, TV, fashion, performance, design, music and art.
Each category included five established figures and five emerging talents.
Adam, a former SNJ arts editor, appears as an emerging artist in the publishing and writing section.
"Writing poetry has always seemed natural to me as both of my parents were poets," said Adam, who lives in Horns Road.
"Getting on the list is an arrival of sorts, as I have probably been emerging for the last 15 years.
"I am fantastically grateful that people voted for me."
A collection of Adam's poetry is due to be published in spring next year.
