FRAMPTON Mansell resident Clare Hall, who was thought to be one of Britain’s oldest female golfers, has died at the age of 101.
The sporting centenarian continued to play regularly at her beloved Cirencester Golf Club right up until her death earlier this month at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
As a member of the club since 1972, Mrs Hall, who was drawn into the sport by her late husband Eric, was mourned by friends and family alike at her funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium yesterday, Monday, July 12.
