A JAPANESE themed lunch was held in Frampton Mansell on Thursday to raise sponsorship money for four teenagers who plan to kayak, hike, cycle and paraglide across Montenegro to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Finn Sowerbutts 17, who lives in Frampton Mansell, organised the trip in aid of the charity's south-west appeal.
His mother Lucinda held the lunch, which raised £400 and was catered by Kayo Lee, who runs Ka-yo's Kitchen in Stonehouse.
She cooked up a delicious traditional Japanese menu including spinach with special sesame sauce, minced chicken with tskune sauce, aubergine with sweet miso sauce and salmon with lemon soy sauce.
The group of teenagers, which also includes Bella Haycraft Mee from Brimscombe, and Alfie Gilbert and Emma Beresford from Cheltenham, will set off on Wednesday, August 11 and hope to complete the challenge in seven days.
