PENSIONERS, carers and disabled people are invited to apply for concessions on public transport.
Those eligible for the scheme can choose either £20 in travel tokens or a free bus pass, which entitles users to free travel on any recognised bus route in Gloucestershire.
Applications are welcome from anyone over 60, disabled people, blind people or carers in receipt of a carer's allowance.
Anyone who enjoyed concessionary travel last year should already have received an application form for this year's scheme, which runs from Saturday, April 1 to Saturday, March 31, 2007.
Those who received travel tokens last year but would like a free bus pass this time should complete the application form and return it with a passport sized photograph, proof of age or eligibility to the Concessionary Fare Officer at Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Stroud, Glos, GL5 4UB.
Anyone who hasn't received an application form or is applying for tokens or a bus pass for the first time should ring the concessionary fare officer on 01453 754417 (a 24-hour message recording service), email con.fares@stroud.gov.uk or visit Ebley Mill.
