STROUD-born goalkeeper Stuart Nelson will be relishing the chance of another Premiership scalp after League One minnows Brentford gained a stunning FA Cup fourth round victory over Premiership Sunderland on Saturday.
A brace from Dudley 'DJ'Campbell allowed the Bees to compound more misery on Mick McCarthy's Sunderland, and book a fifth round trip to Alan Curbishley's Charlton Athletic.
Earlier, one goal in each half handed Brentford their first top-flight scalp in 57 years.
Nelson, 24, was called into action when he denied his former Oxford team-mate Dean Whitehead by brilliantly pushing away a stinging drive.
However, he was beaten on 66 minutes. Julian Arca flew in what was meant to be a cross, but it sailed over everyone and in the back of the net.
Brentford boss Martin Allen has forbidden his team to talk about the forthcoming clash with Charlton, but Nelson was undeniably chuffed to beat Sunderland.
He said: "We're delighted with the result. I was pleased with my performance and delighted with my save off Dean's strike-I saw it late and managed to get something on it."
