"Does anyone have any information about Alfred Luke Randell?
"In researching the history of Lansdown in Stroud, we have come across a diary of Alfred Luke Randell who was born in 1854 and lived in Lansdown from 1868. His father, Geoffrey Randell (1806-1872) was a High Bailiff of Stroud County Court and a Methodist preacher.
"Does anyone know of a Dr Harrison from World War Two? In his book A Stroud Valley Childhood, Terry Jones tells a story about a doctor called Harrison who used to cycle along Lansdown from his home surgery in Stroud to one in Cainscross around 1940. Can anyone identify this doctor?
"Also, does anyone know if Graham Stagg, who worked for Baughan Engineers, is still around?
"Finally, four houses were demolished in Lansdown in 1975 to make way for the proposed inner ring road. We would like to know when they were last lived in and more about what happened to the owners at the time."
