HALLOWEEN was celebrated with traditional trick-or-treating and more unconventional events this week.
While Rodborough teenagers Laura Gosson, Lorna Stephens, Abigail Holmes, Jo Thompson and Shane Boothby took the streets by storm in scary costumes, children at Minchinhampton Baptist Church enjoyed an alternative evening of fun and games.
The Superhero evening, organised by new youth and children's worker Sarah Powell, was on the theme of superheroes. More than 30 children enjoyed games, songs and film clips, as well as prizes for the best costumes.
"It went very well," said Miss Powell, 24. We had some fantastic drama on David and Goliath with a comedy twist and videos on the same kind of theme."
