MCFLY fans from Stroud were starstruck when they met their favourite band, thanks to a competition run by the SNJ.
The girls, Katie Davis, Carly Noble, Jess Martin and Lauren McDonnell, all 16, won front row tickets to the bands concert in Cardiff last Tuesday and went backstage to meet their idols.
The teenagers had a fantastic time and were so overwhelmed they were speechless by the time they actually met the lads.
Jess, who has now seen the group three times, said: "Meeting them was the best bit because they were so nice - but afterwards we couldn't remember what we had said to them."
The group were so close to the stage the boys were waving to them and Danny, the group's guitarist, threw his plectrum down for them to keep.
Katie said: "It was definitely worth buying all those copies of the paper to enter the competition and everyone else around us was so jealous we had met them."
