VETERAN bowler Gareth Haines feels Stroud will bounce back after the Farmhill side were relegated from Premier Two against Downend on Saturday.
Ali Bell's side will commence next season in Glos Wilts One, but Haines is optimistic for the future with a crop of talented youngsters coming up through the flourishing youth system.
"It has been a frustrating season," said Haines.
"We have been so close in games, but have failed to get the results, but the future is bright with young players such as Chris Job, Pete Cash and
Luke Benneyworth in our ranks."
Meanwhilew, on Saturday Downend posted a target of 279 for Bell's side. Haines banked three wickets and Olly Waters two.
Stroud's Leighton Collins smashed 75, but his side were beaten by six runs.
