PAINSWICK sealed promotion to Division One with a hard fought 36 run victory over Chalford.
An opening partnership of 110 between Simon Savides and Japp Neville laid the foundations.
Savides hit a six and 14 fours in his 72 with Neville reaching the boundary ten times in his 55.
Martin Barnard 36, Bob Cook 21 and Danny Cave 12 chipped in to a final total of 222-7.
For Chalford Darren Baker on his return from injury impressed with (3-15) and Sammy Ogden returning (2-52).
Chalford's reply started in quickfire fashion with veteran Terrence Bray to the fore, Bray punishing anything loose making 56.
Justin Webster 28, Sammy Ogden 20 and Norm Banyard 17 chipping in useful runs.
Painswick's bowling was led by Gary Base who took (2-7) in seven overs of accurate medium pace.
Marty Wilkins (4-39) and 'Butch' Hogg (3-38) with his straight spinners, wrapped things up as Chalford ended on 186 all- out.
