YOUTH choir Stream of Sound comes to The Space in Stroud this week with a wide range of uplifting and inspiring songs guaranteed to raise your spirits.
With a repertoire that spans everything from the fervour of the early American Shapenote hymns to the joyful exuberance of South African Church music - by way of Eva Cassidy - the choir can truly claim to give their audiences a global musical experience.
This is the sixth time that Stream of Sound has visited Stroud and if previous concerts are anything to go by, listeners will be delighted by the diversity of the programme and the exuberant, powerful sound of the young voices.
"The choir explores musical expressions from around the world and gives voice to songs that move peoples hearts and minds," says choir leader Caroline Price.
"This is a concert for people of all ages and for all the family."
Stream of Sound will be at The Space on Wednesday August 24 , at 7.30pm. Tickets can be bought at the door or from Stroud's Moonflower in the High Street for £8 and children for £3.
