A GENEROUS Stroud barber has offered his Florida holiday villa to a sick little girl to help her fulfill her dream to visit Disneyland.
Brave Brionny Gwilliam, 6, from Coleford, will lose the ability to walk in just a few months as a rare form of muscular dystrophy causes her leg and hip muscles to deteriorate.
A dedicated team of fundraisers in her home town have been raising money to send her on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Florida to visit Mickey Mouse and his pals.
And when Tim Sysum, who runs a barber's shop in Bath Street, Stroud, heard of her plight he decided to offer her and her family his 4-bedroom holiday home just 10 minutes from the resort.
"I felt sorry for her," he said. "She is such a sweet little thing. They have been trying to raise money to get her over there. I had been so many times myself and all she wants to do is go once.
"She really wanted see Mickey Mouse, so I rang her mum up and said she could have the villa for a couple of weeks."
Brionny's mum Rachel who was overjoyed at the generous gesture said: "Brionny is really looking forward to it - she talks about it all the time. "She is really looking forward to seeing Cinderella, as well as Mickey and Minnie."
fundraisers based at the Royal Forest Inn at Mile End, have raised more than £4,500 for Brionny who is set to jet off to Disneyland next Easter.
