THE WORLD'S top Rolling Stones tribute band are set to play the Subscription Rooms in Stroud on October 1.
The Rollin Clones were formed in 1997 to celebrate the music and career of the greatest rock'n'roll band ever.
They immediately shot into the limelight when, at the start of their career, they were threatened with a lawsuit by the Rolling Stones' legal machine. The end result was that the Clones had to change their logo and drop the 'g' from Rolling.
Since then the Clones have gone from strength to strength, playing sell-out concerts at home and abroad. They enjoy a reputation as being 'the best tribute to the Rolling Stones ever'.
The lead guitarist and founder member of the Rollin' Clones, David Wykeham-George, AKA Ronnie Woodbine, grew up in Minchinhampton having moved there when his father, the internationally renowned cellist Gethyn Wykeham-George, retired from public performing.
David is a celebrated musician in his own right, an accomplished jazz guitarist and pianist, as well as a top session guitarist.
The show takes place on Friday, October 1 from 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the box office.
