Glos Premier League Painswick 20 Chosen Hill 20
PAINSWICK produced as excellent team performance on Saturday to share the spoils with Chosen Hill.
However, they will feel a little disappointed because Chosen Hill drew level with the very last move of the match, scoring an unconverted try in the corner.
Ali Bressington opened Painswick's account with a penalty, but Adam Morgan responded almost immediately with a penalty for Chosen Hill to level the scores.
However, Bressington made them pay by kicking a further three to give Painswick a 12-3 lead midway through the first half.
Just before the interval a long miss-pass from fly- half Martin Hayward found Bressington who raced over to give them a 17-3 lead.
Another penalty at the start of the second half increased Painswick's lead. But with 15 minutes remaining Matt Western scored Chosen's try near the posts which was duly converted by Morgan.
Then Painswick were rocked when Bressington was sin-binned for a professional foul. With Chosen having an extra man they scored again.
With the very last play of the game Painswick won the lineout but the visitors stole the ball and scored a try in the corner to level the scores, the conversion was missed and the referee blew for full time.
