THE Stroud International Textile Festival finishes on May 21. As part of this, the Stroud Embroiderers have a small exhibition at The Cotswold Care Hospice in Minchinhampton.
Our next meeting will take place at the Whitminster village hall on Friday, May 22, when we shall hear about The Mongolian Project. The workshop on Saturday, May 23, will be about creating unique patterns on fabric using, amongst other things, shaving foam. The patterns are based on Mongolian knot patterns which are an exciting resource, for embroidery and quilting. All visitors are welcome to attend the talk and to the workshop.
