REPAIRS to the damaged wall alongside Park Gardens in Stroud could cost £40,000 over 10 years, the town council has been told.
The lower two metres of wall were hit in last year’s floods and have also been weakened by salt splashing up from Slad Road.
Members of the recreation and finance committee learned on Monday, December 1 that the repair work had been put out to tender.
