THE FIRST motor sport event was held at New Barn Farm, Cirencester Road, Aston Down on Sunday, November 23.
Concerns were raised at a Minchinhampton Parish Council meeting on Monday night that engineering works had been carried out to build the course.
Last week Philip Skill, head of planning at SDC, told the SNJ: "The law allows land to be used for motor sports without planning permission for a limited number of days each year. But it is needed for physical changes to the land.
"As no permission has been sought and there have been some physical changes, there is a breach of planning control.
"In this case the changes have little effect because the site is very well hidden. Our view is therefore that enforcement action would be unreasonable."
Cllr Elisabeth Bird (Con, Minchinhampton) has requested the matter is referred to the Development Control Committee.
An SDC spokesman confirmed the motor sport track would be on the agenda for the meeting on Tuesday, January 13.
