POLICE are appealing for information after a mountain bike worth more than £1,000 was stolen in Stroud.
The bike, a silver and black 2005 Specialized Hardrock, was double-locked to a bicycle bay at the top of High Street when thieves cut the chain and made off with the bike sometime between 6pm-7pm on Tuesday, November 18.
Among the bike’s distinctive features is a Marzocchi front suspension fork, disc brakes, purple handle-bars which have faded to pink, and Mavic 317 rims on DT Swiss hubs.
Also, the back wheel has a yellow tyre wall, while the front wheel is completely black.
