BURGLARS stole thousands of pounds of property from businesses during a crime spree near Stonehouse last weekend.
Three burglaries and an attempted burglary took place at commercial properties on the Button Mill and Bridgend Work trading estates.
Thieves forced entry to three of the locations and in one case stole computer equipment worth more than £3,000 and a digital camera.
The computer equipment was recovered following the incident, which took place between 1.15pm on Friday, November 14 and 7.30am on Monday, November 17.
Inspector Bill Stack, of Stonehouse Police, said: "Burglary sprees like this are rare but cause a tremendous amount of distress and inconvenience for the business owners who are left in the wake of the destruction."
Forensic examinations of the crime scenes have taken place.
