STROUD Town Council will have a 'very tight' budget next financial year, according to the deputy mayor.
Speaking at a full council meeting on Monday, November 10, Andy Read said there would be a below inflation increase in the budget.
He added that spare capacity had been taken up in the cost of running Uplands Post Office and buying new equipment to maintain the parks.
The budget will be discussed at the recreation and finance committee on Monday, December 1.
