PUPILS at Eastcombe Primary will soon be taking over every role in the school as part of 11 Million Takeover Day 2008, on Friday, November 21.
The children, aged between 9 -11, will fulfil every job from secretaries and teachers, to lunchtime supervisors and headteacher as part of the nation-wide scheme, which seeks to demonstrate a commitment to children and young people, and celebrate their contribution to society.
The first ever 11 Million Takeover Day took place in November last year, with 10,000 youngsters taking over 500 organisations including schools, police forces, fire brigades, newspapers, television stations, church groups, charities, local authorities and parliamentarians.
