ON a crisp but bright Sunday morning, the Stroud community stopped to remember those who have given their lives for their country today.
Residents paid tribute to the fallen at a Sunday Remembrance service at the St Laurence Church followed by a ceremony in Park Gardens.
Hundreds attended the ceremony including new MP Simon Opher, mayor Tony Davey and former MP David Drew, who all laid wreaths.
