POLICE are appealing for information to help find a man who has been reported missing from a village near Stroud.
Officers from Gloucestershire police are concerned for the welfare of 61-year-old Gerard, who was last seen in Amberley on Saturday, October 5 and has not returned.
His disappearance is out of character, and officers are now asking for information from the public to help locate him.
Gerard, also known as Gerry, is described as being 5ft 10ins tall and of a medium build with a bald head.
He speaks with a Southern Irish accent.
It is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen.
Gerard is known to travel on foot or by bus and has links to the Isle of Man and Leeds.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate him, and anyone who has seen Gerard or who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 459 of 9 October.
