Police have issued several alerts in recent days after a rise in thefts from vehicles across the area.
Officers say that a number of vehicles were 'attacked and entered' in the Stroud and Stonehouse areas over the weekend.
The offences occurred in Peghouse Rise, Kingscourt Lane, Swifts Hill and Summer Street in Stroud as well as in Juniper Way and Regent Street in Stonehouse.
Police add that during these incidents two vans were attacked and tools taken from them.
On Friday police say there were three incidents relating to thefts from vehicles in Kingscourt Lane.
A bag that was taken - with tools inside - has now been returned to its owner.
Police have issued the following advice to owners.

- Park your car wisely.
- Check your CCTV is working.
- Do not leave any tools in vans overnight
