POLICE were called to an illegal rave involving around 750 people near Cirencester at the weekend.
Gloucestershire police attended an unlicensed music event near Poulton in the early hours of Sunday after reports that an estimated 750 people were in attendance.
The entrances to the location were closed from a number of directions, including the A417 as well as from Welsh Way.
Police seized amplified sound systems along with two vehicles and two people were arrested.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to thank the local community for their patience and reassure those living in the area that they understand how much of an impact an event like this can have.”
